Step-by-Step Application Guide
Shower first: Apply the fragrance to clean, dry skin immediately after a shower when your pores are open and receptive to the scent.
Moisturize: For an even longer-lasting effect, apply an unscented body lotion or a dab of petroleum jelly to your pulse points before spraying the perfume. This creates an oily base that the fragrance molecules can cling to, slowing down evaporation.
Target pulse points: These are warm areas of the body that help diffuse the scent throughout the day. Key areas include:
Wrists (avoid rubbing them together).
Neck and collarbone.
Behind the ears.
Inner elbows and the back of the knees.
Spray correctly: Hold the bottle about 3 to 6 inches (about 8 to 15 cm) away from your skin when spraying to ensure even distribution.
Do not rub: Avoid rubbing your wrists or other application points together, as the friction generates heat and breaks down the delicate scent molecules, causing the fragrance to fade faster and altering its intended scent profile.
Allow to dry: Let the perfume dry completely on your skin before putting on clothes. You can also lightly spritz your hairbrush and run it through your hair or mist your clothes from a distance (avoiding delicate fabrics that might stain) for an extra layer of scent.
Reapply as needed: Although Eau de Parfums are concentrated for longevity, you can reapply 2-3 sprays if the scent fades throughout the day.
