KIEHL's creamy eye treatment with avocado

Key Ingredients and Benefits The unique water-in-oil formula of the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado allows for deep, all-day hydration without the product migrating into the eyes.

• Avocado Oil: Sourced from the nutritious avocado fruit, this oil is rich in fatty acids, including omega essential fatty acids, and Vitamins A, D, and E. It is known to deeply moisturize, nourish, and soften the delicate skin, which helps to visibly de-puff the eye area and diminish fine lines caused by dehydration.
• Shea Butter: A natural fat derived from the African karite tree fruit, shea butter is widely recognized for its ability to condition and soothe skin. It helps maintain the skin's moisture balance, restore suppleness, and protects against dehydration.
• Beta-Carotene: This naturally-derived antioxidant is often found in orange and red vegetables and helps protect the skin from environmental stressors. It contributes to a brighter appearance and helps combat tired-looking eyes.
• Sodium & Copper PCA: These ingredients are components of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF). They help fortify the skin and enable it to retain moisture more effectively, resulting in a visibly smoother texture.
• Caffeine: In the updated formula, caffeine is included for its stimulating properties, which are known to help reduce the appearance of under-eye puffiness and give a "pop of energy" to tired eyes.

Primary Benefits The combination of ingredients offers multiple benefits for the sensitive eye area:

• Deep Hydration: Provides instant and long-term, all-day hydration to combat dryness.
• Smoother Texture: Immediately improves the look and feel of the under-eye texture and dry fine lines.
• Reduced Puffiness and Brightening: Clinically demonstrated to reduce puffiness and improve the brightness of the under-eye area.
• Gentle Formula: It is ophthalmologist- and dermatologist-tested, fragrance-free,
paraben-free, and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
• Makeup Primer: The creamy texture serves as an excellent base for makeup, helping concealer and other products stay in place without settling into fine lines.
• How to use: To get the most out of Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, you need to follow a specific application technique to "break" its unique water-in-oil formula.Daily Application (Morning & Night)Apply this cream after cleansing and toning, but before your heavier face moisturizer.

1. Dose: Scoop a small amount (about the size of a grain of rice) onto your ring finger.
2. Warm & Activate: Rub your two ring fingers together. You will feel the texture shift from a thick cream to a watery, liquid consistency. This step is crucial for absorption and to prevent the product from "migrating" into your eyes.
3. Tap Gently: Using a gentle tapping motion, apply the treatment along the orbital bone (the bone surrounding the eye).
4. Avoid Pulling: Do not rub or pull the skin. Continue tapping until the product is fully absorbed.

As an Intensive Eye MaskIf your under-eye area feels exceptionally dry or looks dull:

1. Layer: Apply a thick, visible layer of the cream around the eye area.
2. Wait: Let it sit for 10 minutes.
3. Cleanse: Gently wipe away any remaining excess with a soft tissue or damp cotton pad.

Pro Tips:

• Makeup Primer: Let the cream sit for 1–2 minutes before applying concealer; it creates a smooth, hydrated base that prevents makeup from creasing.
• Store Cool: For an extra de-puffing effect in the morning, store the jar in a skincare fridge or a cool place.
